MPPT stands for maximum power point tracking, a feature that allows the controller to monitor the power generation voltage of the solar panel in real time. By tracking the highest voltage and current values, the controller ensures that your battery is charged with the maximum power output.
Unlike other controllers, the maximum power point tracking mode of this series of controllers is completely automatic and does not require any user adjustment.
